Accommodation and facilities:
I visited By The Sea hotel with my 5-year-old son at April 2009. We liked the place; quiet and very good quality rooms, peaceful beach not far away from Phuket town..two free taxi drives from hotel to Phuket town and back included in the room price. Friendly staff! Free wireless internet, didn t work on the beach side rooms as the hotel is located on a hill . I used the Novotel Hotel (next on the street) wireless (chargeable) network. Restaurant of the By the Sea Hotel is quite modest, menu not very good. Breakfast is ok. I could recommend this hotel for families, big rooms and a comfortable self-laundry service possibility.
